This film was not successful or critically acclaimed but I think the story is interesting and unique. It serves as a study of what might happen if people were to suddenly act on their first thought without self censorship.

In a sense this story is almost a tragedy in the classical sense. The character of Stuart has a moral downfall, albeit chemically induced, and rises above it even though his own doom is imminent. This movie does not end well for anyone. Even the character of Jennifer, played by Meg Tilly, has nothing to be happy about, though she is the only person to leave the town alive. She'll probably be in therapy for the rest of her life. It's an interesting ending for a Hollywood flick. They usually present at least some ray of hope at the end.

This segment of the story is when we start to see that there is something weird going on among the citizens of this small town.

She says that working on this film was one of her favourite acting experiences, because she learned so much about herself from her character, Karen. She says that the never released director's cut of this movie is far superior.

Someone in Europe must have ripped this film from a video cassette that already had the subtitles on it and then uploaded it to warez-files.com. It was the only version I could find.
