A Time For Us by Johnny Mathis - karaoke version from the Wikipedia: "Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet", also known as "A Time for Us", is an instrumental arranged by Henry Mancini (from Nino Rota's music written for Franco Zeffirelli's film of Romeo and Juliet, starring Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey). It was a number-one pop hit in the United States during the year 1969. It topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart on June 28, 1969, and remained there for two weeks. Rearranged by Mancini, the song started competing with rock and roll songs from The Beatles and the Rolling Stones on an Orlando, Florida radio station and spread from there. It faced stiff opposition from some radio states for being too soft. Those stations had to change their mind when the song became number one. This release also topped the US easy listening chart for eight weeks where it was Mancini's sole number one on the chart. Love Theme from "Romeo and Juliet" (A Time for Us) is the 30th original studio album released by singer Johnny Mathis. Please excuse the variety of tones of the clips. I got them from a variety of torrents and from some scenes from MovieClips on youtube. Also, because All The Right Noises was made around 1971, I'm assuming thats why it looks lightned. Don't ask me why, it's just something I think about in my mind is all. This is extremely AU, there isn't really a storyline, just listen to the lyrics and remember most of it is from his point of view. It's been so long since I've made a video with clips, and I still can't find any HP clips in HQ. Unfortunately, all of the old sites have been taken down. Why Olivia Hussey and Hal Ozsan? Personally, Olivia is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen; I've always wanted to look like her and she is the most charming. Her interviews (including her current ones) she is very educated and sweet. She's similar to Emma Watson, personally. :) Ever since the Supernatural episode, Curious Case of Dean Winchester, I've had a soft spot for Hal Ozsan and to be honest, I find him incredibly attractive. This is just something crazy I have in my mind, and this ties in with the orignial storyline of All The Right Noises, because it's about an underage girl with an overage man. (Not too much, a girl around 16 with a 28+(ish) man) ((in the film she was 15 and he was 31)). I don't support relationships like that (indicating someone is a pedophile or something), I really don't, so please don't take this video the wrong way. * During the Filming of the 1968 "Romeo & Juliet," Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey fall madly In Love! However, being so young at the fair age of 15, Olivia, at one point, gets cold feet, and tries to avoid Leonard as much as she can. Leonard realizes what Olivia is going thru and doesn't pester her, but helps her see that by "trying," there is no way that you can Escape the Love that they are both feeling for each other; thus, Olivia stops running away from her Love for Leonard, and pursues it now with him, with all of her Heart. * This Story is Fictional. However, it is True that both Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey both fell in love with each other, and were dating, during the Filming of the 1968 "Romeo & Juliet." Sadly, when the show had finished taping, Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey split, knowing that they were both going in different directions. (But it didn't help Olivia for only being 15 years old at the time, either. Perhaps they would have stayed together and got married, which ALL OF THE FANS REALLY WANTED FOR THEM, had Olivia Hussey been a few years older. I think about that sometimes, and I think to myself "what BEAUTIFUL Babies they would have made together!" hee hee! Wishful Thinking & Dreaming of the "what if's.")
